our update of an old army/navy classic (“shit on a shingle” if you don’t have a dad that was in the service) and a favorite with the staff. ours starts with grilled asiago bread, home fries, and is topped with a really flavorful, rich creamed beef mixture, then 2 steamed eggs. please, no subs on this one either

we start with a homemade crust made with real butter and lots of it, so it’s flaky and tender. (not that store bought frozen puff pastry). there’s a layer on the bottom, then it’s filled with lots of white meat chicken, peas, carrots, and potatoes in a creamy chicken sauce. then topped with another layer of golden brown flaky crust. Just like the ones you remember
2 eggs (steamed, griddled, or scrambled), choice of 2 pieces of bacon or sausage, and your choice of any 2 pancakes or griddlecakes from the regular menu | (additional charge may be applied for substitutions.)

it’s big, it’s gooey, it’s messy, it’s great. a big round of grilled focaccia (looks like a fat tortilla), topped with melted emmanthal cheese, grilled onions, mushrooms, and roast beef. served hot, and open faced, (it looks like a pizza but you eat it like a big taco) it comes with some shredded lettuce, diced tomato, and horseradish sauce
a grilled french baguette is dipped in a rich beef “jus”, then stuffed with lots of thinly sliced roast beef. served with more jus for dipping.. great as is, or try adding some extra stuff, like melted fontina cheese, grilled onions, grilled peppers, roasted mushrooms, etc.
we realize we’re not a bar-b-q place, but we guarantee this is the best pulled pork sandwich you’ve ever had! we smoke it ourselves, with our own special rub, and our own homemade sauce. served on our “pan de mie” buns with homemade slaw and kosher pickles.
